THROWBACK TO 2008:

10 SONGS TURNING 10 THIS YEAR

1.    Beyoncé - Single Ladies
It's still the anthem for all the single ladies who don't need a man. Still trying to master the dance, though.

2.    Flo Rida feat. T-Pain - Low
Cue memories of your school disco. Droppin' it low without knowing what it meant. Also who else wanted Apple Bottom jeans and boots with the fur?

3.    Lil Wayne feat. Static - Lollipop
Don't worry, we didn't realise how dirty this song was until now either.

4.    Kanye West - Love Lockdown

This song was cited as the best song of 2008 by Time. It was released as part of his 808s & Heartbreak album, which was named one of the ten best albums of 2008.

5.    T.I. - Whatever You Like
This song had us all feeling like ballers even though we had 20p and a piece of lint in our pockets.

6.    M.I.A - Paper Planes
Finger guns and KERRRR-CHING. M.I.A. would then go on to perform live on her due date. Talk about badass.

7.    Rihanna - Disturbia
Of course we couldn't forget RiRi. The star made this song when she was just 20 years old. Admittedly, the video used to give us the creeps.

As if the fact that 2000's kids will be going to university this year wasn't enough to make millennials feel old, we've put together a list of 2008's most iconic songs which are turning 10 this year - sorry for the feels

8.    Ne-Yo - Closer
Can we go back to the time when fedoras were cool?

9.    Beyoncé - If I Were a Boy
We grew up with her hits, no wonder she's the Queen, and appears on this list again.

10.    Dizzee Rascal and Calvin Harris - Dance Wiv Me
Rewind to Calvin Harris having the shaggy haircut that was cool back then. But to be honest, Dizzee Rascal and Calvin Harris' hard British accents make this song.
